AI Dev Cases

About

A media site that breaks down winning overseas AI-app case studies into ‘numbers’ and ‘repeatable steps.’

Abroad, solo developers keep using AI to land apps fast and earn thousands to tens of thousands of dollars a month. Yet curated information is scarce. So we gather it here.

Not just stories. We structure each case into ‘how they found the pain point,’ ‘the repeatable playbook,’ ‘the tech used,’ and ‘marketing tactics,’ so you can compare and search across them. Less inspiration, more steps you can copy this weekend.

Data policy — how we verify the numbers

This site lives or dies on the credibility of its numbers, so here is exactly where they come from — and their limits.

At least one primary source per case

Every case is checked against at least one primary source before publishing: the founder's own posts (X, LinkedIn, interviews), the official app or pricing page, or their Product Hunt launch. Each case page lists its sources with a primary/secondary label.

Revenue is founder-reported, normalized to monthly USD

Revenue figures are based on what founders or official announcements state publicly — they are not third-party audited. Because formats vary (ARR, lifetime, daily), we normalize everything to estimated monthly revenue in USD (MRR) for cross-case comparison, and keep the original wording alongside.

Numbers are as of publication

These apps grow fast, so figures can change significantly after we publish. Every case shows its publication date, and we add and revisit cases weekly.

No republishing

We use overseas newsletters and press to discover cases, but we never republish them. Each case is re-verified against primary sources and rewritten into our own structured format: pain point, playbook, tech, and marketing tactics.

About the operator

Run by an independent developer in Japan. Tech-stack sections may contain referral (affiliate) links, always disclosed via rel=sponsored. Referrals never influence which cases we cover or how we assess them.
